This strategy splits your money into two halves. Both halves constantly ask: is the market overheating, crashing, or acting normally? When things look good, it usually buys very aggressive funds tied to tech, semiconductors, or the S&P 500. When markets look dangerous or too euphoric, it may switch into funds that profit from falling stocks, rising volatility, or big moves in Treasury bonds.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
