About

A daily, rules‑driven Emerging Markets strategy that flips between 3x long EM, 3x short EM, cash, and sometimes 3x tech. It uses trend, recent price moves, bond‑vs‑stock strength, and inflation cues to press the accelerator in uptrends and hit the brakes in danger.
NutHow it works
Every day it checks market “health” using simple rules: is price above a long-term average, have prices run up or fallen hard recently, are bonds stronger than stocks, is inflation heating up? If conditions look good, it buys a 3x Emerging Markets fund (or sometimes fast‑moving tech). If not, it shorts EM or sits in T‑Bills.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this EM strategy posts ~108% annualized return with a Calmar ~15.7 and Sharpe ~3.33 vs the S&P ~1.76—stronger risk-adjusted growth. It rides EM/tech uptrends and uses risk controls to protect capital.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
