About

A daily, tactical “thermometer” strategy: short-term overbought → bet on volatility (UVXY); deeply oversold tech → buy 3x tech (TECL); otherwise use a bond-vs‑inverse‑Nasdaq regime check to own TSLA only in an uptrend, or sit in cash (SHV).
NutHow it works
Each day: - If QQQ’s 10‑day RSI > 80 → buy UVXY (volatility). - Else if SPY’s 10‑day RSI > 80 → buy UVXY. - Else if TQQQ’s 10‑day RSI < 31 → buy TECL (3x tech). - Else compare 20‑day RSI: IEF vs PSQ. • If IEF > PSQ and TSLA’s EMA(8) > SMA(21) → buy TSLA. • Otherwise → hold SHV (cash-like T‑bills). RSI: 0–100 heat meter; EMA/SMA: short/long price averages.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers higher risk-adjusted returns vs the S&P: Sharpe ~1.49 vs ~1.18, Calmar ~2.45, and ~95% annualized return vs ~20% for SPY. It blends volatility timing, tech rebounds, and cash discipline for bigger upside with controlled risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
