About
Daily binary rotation: hold EBAY if price > 50-day average, else switch to NVDA; 100% allocation to the chosen name, simple momentum-like rule with two-name exposure.
Every day, the system checks EBAY’s current price and compares it to EBAY’s 50-day moving average. If the current price is higher than the 50-day average, the strategy allocates to EBAY. If not, it switches to NVDA. The tag wt-cash-equal means that if multiple assets passed the test, cash would be split evenly among them; here, only one asset is selected each day, so you effectively hold 100% in the chosen stock. This is a simple, trend-following rotation between two names with no diversification beyond those two.
Simple, rule-based two-name rotation (EBAY/NVDA) targeting tech momentum. Out-of-sample: ~13.4% annualized return, Sharpe ~0.50, max drawdown ~34.6%. A transparent SPY diversification sleeve—upsides in tech cycles, with higher risk.
