About

A daily, risk‑managed tech/semis strategy. Cash on volatility spikes; then bond‑vs‑Nasdaq strength, a semiconductor “heat meter,” and an inflation trend decide between leveraged longs, hedges, or shorts. Uses 3x ETFs—expect high volatility.
NutHow it works
Rebalanced daily. If the fear gauge (VIXM) is hot, park in cash (SHV). Otherwise compare bonds vs Nasdaq strength (BND vs QQQ). Use semiconductors (SMH) as a heat meter: buy 3x tech/semis (SOXL/TECL or XLK) when cool, short them (SOXS) or go to cash when too hot. An inflation check (RINF vs 100‑day avg) tilts toward semis or adds a bond short (TMV). If unclear, hold PSQ/TLT/SHV.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: similar annualized return (~20%) to the S&P 500, but with active risk guards and volatility hedges. Tech/semis tilt seeks upside in rallies while trimming risk in spikes, boosting risk-adjusted prospects.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
