A daily trading strategy that mainly uses semiconductor and tech signals to swing between aggressive tech bets, bearish hedges, and safe Treasury holdings when markets look risky.

This strategy is a fast-moving market-timer focused mostly on tech, especially semiconductor stocks. It first checks for market fear using VIXM. If fear is very high, it hides in SHV, a very short-term U.S. Treasury fund (basically a cash parking spot). If fear is normal, it compares recent strength in bonds (BND) versus Nasdaq stocks (QQQ). It then uses SMH, a semiconductor fund, as a “temperature gauge” for tech: if semis look overheated, it may bet against them; if they look washed out, it may buy them aggressively; otherwise it mixes tech, bond, short-tech, or cash-like holdings. It often uses leveraged funds like SOXL, SOXS, and TECL, which can make gains and losses much larger than normal.

Tech-focused, regime-switching strategy that shifts among leveraged semiconductor bets, hedges, and cash. Out-of-sample it trails the S&P in raw return but offers a distinct risk/return profile and diversification during tech cycles and volatility.
