About

Starts in QQQ. When QQQ is very hot, it shifts chunks into VIX “fear” ETFs for protection. When QQQ is washed out, it shifts chunks into 2x/3x QQQ to chase rebounds. Otherwise it stays in QQQ. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
Core holding is QQQ (big‑tech index). Each day it checks QQQ’s 14‑day RSI, a 0–100 “speedometer” (high = stretched up, low = beaten down). - If RSI is very high (65–85+), it moves up to 50% into VIXY/UVXY, “fear” funds that often rise when stocks fall, to hedge. - If RSI is very low (≤35…15), it swaps up to 50% into QLD/TQQQ (2x/3x QQQ) to press rebounds. Otherwise it stays 100% in QQQ.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy offers higher risk-adjusted upside vs the S&P: ~31.8% vs ~20.9% annualized return, Sharpe ~1.42 vs ~1.30, Calmar ~1.38. It hedges in hot markets and targets rebounds for growth.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
