About

Dial down risk when the Nasdaq-100 runs hot; dial up (with TQQQ) when it’s washed out. In between, hold QQQ. Decisions come from QQQ’s 14-day RSI (a 0–100 heat gauge). Max moves: 50% to cash-like BIL when hot, or 50% to 3x TQQQ when cold.
NutHow it works
Think of QQQ's 14-day RSI as a heat gauge (0=cold, 100=hot). Rebalanced daily in ten 10% chunks. When the gauge runs hot (>65/70/75/80/85), up to 50% parks in BIL (T-bills, cash-like). When very cold (<=45/40/35/30/25), up to 50% shifts from QQQ to TQQQ (a 3x QQQ). Otherwise it's 100% QQQ (Nasdaq-100).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this RSI-driven Nasdaq-100 strategy delivers ~30% annualized returns vs ~22% for the S&P, with Calmar ~1.06. It trims risk when markets heat up and uses selective leverage to capture rebounds.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
