About
A tech-focused strategy that uses QQQ’s recent momentum as a heat gauge: it shifts some money to T-bills when the market looks overheated, and adds leveraged Nasdaq exposure when the market looks beaten down.
This strategy watches QQQ, a fund packed with large U.S. growth and tech stocks like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Meta, Nvidia, and Tesla.
It uses a simple “heat gauge” called RSI: high RSI means QQQ has gone up fast recently, low RSI means it has fallen fast recently.
If QQQ looks too hot, the strategy moves part of the money into BIL, a very short-term Treasury-bill fund that acts like a parking spot for cash.
If QQQ looks weak, it gets more aggressive by shifting part of the money into TQQQ, a much riskier fund that tries to magnify QQQ’s daily moves.
So the idea is: cool down after a fast run-up, and press harder after a pullback.
Out-of-sample Nasdaq-100 strategy targets higher growth with risk controls: annualized return ~26.45%, Sharpe ~1.07, Calmar ~0.93. RSI-driven cash hedges and selective leverage offer bigger upside with disciplined risk vs the S&P 500.
