About

A daily, equal‑weight trio of “pop” bots for S&P 500, Nasdaq‑100, and semis. It buys 2× funds on sharp dips, fades overheated moves with a VIX bet (UVXY), and otherwise rotates contrarian among bull, bear, or bonds using a quick drawdown test.
NutHow it works
Split equally across three bots: S&P 500, Nasdaq‑100, and Semiconductors. Each day it reads a 0–100 “heat gauge” (10‑day RSI) on the 3× version (SPXL/TQQQ/SOXL). If very hot (>80) on S&P/Nasdaq, it buys a fear fund (UVXY, tied to VIX). If very cold (<30), it buys the 2× bull fund (SSO/QLD/“USD” for semis). Otherwise it checks if SPY fell >6% in 10 days: in a drop it picks one of QID/SDS/BSV with the weakest reading; in calm it picks among BSV/QLD/SSO. QID/SDS=2× inverse; BSV=bonds. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample upside is compelling: ~42% annualized return vs SPY ~20.8%, with Calmar ~1.08 and Sharpe ~1.21, plus positive alpha. Higher growth potential with disciplined risk controls, but larger drawdowns (~39% vs ~19%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
