About

A daily, rules‑based swing system that toggles among 2x stock ETFs, inverse ETFs, volatility (UVXY), and short‑term bonds using “too hot/too cold” readings and a quick stress check on the S&P 500.
NutHow it works
It splits money across three mini‑systems (S&P 500, Nasdaq‑100, Semiconductors). Each day: - If a market looks extremely hot, it buys UVXY (jumps when fear/volatility rises). - If very cold, it buys 2x SSO/QLD/USD. - Else, if the S&P fell >6% lately, it picks 2x inverse SDS/QID or bonds BSV; if not, it buys the dip in 2x S&P/Nasdaq or holds BSV. “Hot/cold” is read from faster 3x gauges SPXL/TQQQ/SOXL (not held).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, ~42% annualized return vs SPY ~21%, via a rules-based risk-on/off mix of leveraged ETFs and hedges. Strong risk-adjusted metrics (Calmar ~1.08; Sharpe ~1.21), but larger drawdowns (~39% vs ~19%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
