This strategy acts like an on/off switch for market risk. It checks whether tech stocks are calm, strong, overheated, or falling fast. If conditions look healthy, it often buys aggressive tech funds like TECL or SOXL. If markets look too hot or fear is rising, it moves to VXX (which tends to rise when volatility jumps) or BIL (short-term Treasury bills/cash-like safety).

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers.
