About

A fast, rules-based strategy: ride tech uptrends with TECL, grab short bursts of volatility with VXX after overheated days, attempt rebounds after sharp drops, and retreat to T‑bills or Treasuries when risk rises. Very active and uses 3x funds.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks the market’s “temperature.” • If stocks look overheated or just surged, it briefly buys VXX (a volatility note). • If tech is trending up and fear is cooling, it rides TECL (3x tech). • After sharp drops, it buys TECL for a rebound—unless bonds look unstable, then it holds BIL (cash-like). • In riskier regimes, it parks in BIL or uses Treasuries (TMF/TMV).
CheckmarkValue prop
Tech-led, regime-aware strategy uses light VXX hedges and 3x tech bets to ride uptrends, aiming for ~39% annualized out-of-sample return vs ~21% for the S&P, with ~0.90 Sharpe and ~0.84 Calmar; note higher drawdowns (~46%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
