A tactical, risk-on/risk-off system built around TQQQ for upside. It rides tech strength when trends are healthy, shifts to cash/bonds or VIX-based hedges when markets look frothy or stressed, and may short in downtrends. It occasionally buys extreme dips.

First, check if the S&P 500 (SPY) is above its long-term trend. If yes, a sleeve tries to ride tech-led gains with TQQQ or QQQ/SPY, but quickly backs off to cash or volatility hedges when things look overheated. If no, it turns defensive: uses cash/bonds, volatility hedges, or even shorts; only holds TQQQ when the short-term trend is up. It sometimes buys extreme dips.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
