About

A tactical, high‑risk strategy that rides tech‑led uptrends with TQQQ, buys sharp dips, and steps aside when markets overheat. In weak markets it can move to cash/bonds, long volatility (VXX), or short QQQ (PSQ). Uses simple trend/RSI rules.
NutHow it works
1) Big trend check: if the S&P 500 is above its 200‑day average (uptrend), favor TQQQ (3x Nasdaq). If things look “too hot” (RSI heat gauge high) or after sharp drops, park in T‑Bills/vol hedges or split SPY/QQQ; if “too cold” (RSI low), buy TQQQ. 2) In downtrends, buy oversold bounces (TQQQ/SPXL) or, if fear spikes, hold VXX+T‑Bills; otherwise, if TQQQ is rising hold TQQQ+cash, else hold bonds or short QQQ (PSQ).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: stronger risk-adjusted performance than the S&P—Sharpe ~1.30 vs ~1.02, Calmar ~1.67, and much higher annualized return. Tech upside with hedges, accepting higher drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
