About

Daily, rules‑based bots aim to ride strong markets with leveraged stock funds, step into defensive sectors/dollar in weak markets, and use volatility tools (UVXY/SVXY) as airbags. Multiple bot variants run in parallel to smooth the ride.
NutHow it works
It splits your money across several small “bots,” rebalanced daily. They check: 1) short‑term temperature (RSI: 0–100; high=overheated, low=washed‑out), 2) the long‑term trend (200‑day line), and 3) a quick cash‑vs‑bond tell. In uptrends they ride turbo stock funds (SPXL/TQQQ), sized lighter if choppy, with ballast in the US dollar (USDU) or short Treasuries (SHY). In stress or downtrends they shift to defensive sectors/the dollar, add a volatility airbag (UVXY), and only sell volatility (SVXY) when conditions look calm.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample risk edge: Sharpe 1.85 vs 1.37, Calmar ~1.85, max drawdown ~11% vs ~19% for the S&P, and positive alpha. Growth with hedges and defensive rotations offers smoother, more durable upside than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
