About

A tactical, crash‑hedged strategy that rotates among 3x stock funds, Treasuries, T‑bills, oil, and volatility hedges. It uses simple signals (RSI, moving averages, recent returns) to go risk‑on in uptrends and defensive or inverse in downtrends.
NutHow it works
RSI = a 0–100 “speedometer” of recent moves. EMA = a smoothed average price. 1) If stocks look extremely hot or fear (UVXY) is spiking, it hedges with UVXY or uses mild shorts/bonds (PSQ/BSV). 2) If the S&P’s trend looks healthy, it rotates: 3x S&P + some 3x Treasuries (else T‑bills), 3x Nasdaq after strength (skip if a huge 1‑day pop), and Oil when rising (else T‑bills). 3) If trend is weak, it goes defensive: T‑bills, hedged longs, or 3x inverse funds.
CheckmarkValue prop
Similar long-run gains (~23% annualized) with crash hedges and multi-asset rotation. Diversifies across stocks, Treasuries, oil, and volatility hedges to protect capital in downturns while pursuing uptrends—an edge over SPY. Caveat: higher drawdowns in crises.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
