About

Daily rules: buy 3x Nasdaq or 3x S&P after sharp drops; buy a VIX‑linked ETF when markets look overheated; otherwise rotate into consumer staples/health care or bonds. Signals use a 10‑day RSI on QQQ/SPY.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a 10‑day RSI (a 0–100 gauge of recent up vs down moves; <30=oversold, >80=very hot) on QQQ (Nasdaq‑100) and SPY (S&P 500). If QQQ RSI<30→100% TQQQ (3x Nasdaq). Else if SPY RSI<30→100% UPRO (3x S&P). Else if QQQ or SPY RSI>80→100% UVXY (VIX‑futures fund that jumps in panicky markets). Otherwise split between the weaker of: XLP or VBF, and XLV or VBF.
CheckmarkValue prop
Low-beta, rules-based tactical sleeve to diversify a core S&P 500. With ~0.25 beta and Calmar 1.28 in out-of-sample tests, it adds risk management and potential volatility-driven upside, complementing the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
