About

Daily rules-based switcher that rides strong tech uptrends with 2–3x ETFs, then hedges or parks in T‑Bills when fear or overheating shows up. Also rotates through bonds, gold, and emerging markets. Very active and high risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks two things: trend and fear. Trend = price vs its recent average; fear = a hot/cold score called RSI (0–100). • If trend is up and fear is cool, it buys high‑octane tech funds (TQQQ=3x Nasdaq, SOXL=3x semis, TECL=3x tech). • If fear spikes or prices look overheated, it flips to protection: UVXY (volatility), bear funds (SQQQ/TECS/SOXS), bonds (TLT/TMF), gold (UGL/GLL), or T‑Bills (BIL/SHV).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample shows -29.5% annualized return and 13.1% drawdown vs SPY’s +14.4% and ~2.6% drop; not a core holding. It’s a high-risk tactical satellite for diversification and hedging within a broader portfolio.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
