About
Daily rules-based switcher that rides strong tech uptrends with 2–3x ETFs, then hedges or parks in T‑Bills when fear or overheating shows up. Also rotates through bonds, gold, and emerging markets. Very active and high risk.
Each day it checks two things: trend and fear. Trend = price vs its recent average; fear = a hot/cold score called RSI (0–100).
• If trend is up and fear is cool, it buys high‑octane tech funds (TQQQ=3x Nasdaq, SOXL=3x semis, TECL=3x tech).
• If fear spikes or prices look overheated, it flips to protection: UVXY (volatility), bear funds (SQQQ/TECS/SOXS), bonds (TLT/TMF), gold (UGL/GLL), or T‑Bills (BIL/SHV).
Out-of-sample shows -29.5% annualized return and 13.1% drawdown vs SPY’s +14.4% and ~2.6% drop; not a core holding. It’s a high-risk tactical satellite for diversification and hedging within a broader portfolio.
