About
A daily, risk-on/off strategy. When conditions look healthy, it rides top 3x equity ETFs; when not, it pivots to Treasuries, cash, gold, utilities, dollar or commodities. Uses trend canaries and RSI to handle spikes and dips.
Daily rotation. First, it checks market “canaries” to see if risk is safe: Is the S&P in an uptrend? Are tech stocks beating utilities? Are bonds and EM stocks healthy? If yes, it buys 2 hot 3x equity funds (SPXL/TQQQ/UDOW) by recent 10‑day gains. If not, it shifts to safety: Treasuries (TMF/TMV), cash (BIL), gold (UGL), utilities (XLU), dollar (USDU) or commodities (PDBC/DBC). RSI is a simple hot/cold meter; it’s used to sidestep spikes or buy dips.
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets far higher upside (40.3% annualized vs 23.7% for S&P 500) with solid risk-adjusted returns (Sharpe ~1.40, Calmar ~1.24). Daily risk-on/risk-off rotation hedges downturns, though drawdowns can be larger.
