A weekly macro strategy that constantly hedges against the U.S. dollar and then makes aggressive bets on gold, U.S. stocks, MicroStrategy, or falling Treasury bonds based on short-term market momentum.
NutHow it works
Each week, the strategy keeps 20% in euro and yen funds, which benefits if the U.S. dollar weakens. The other 80% watches market momentum: a “speedometer” of recent price strength. If the dollar looks strong, it buys either gold or a turbocharged S&P 500 fund. If the dollar looks weak, it shifts to either MicroStrategy (a very volatile Bitcoin-related stock) or a fund that profits when long-term U.S. Treasury bonds fall.
