About

Aggressive daily swing strategy. Buys 3× tech (TQQQ/TECL) when trends are healthy or deeply oversold, flips to volatility hedges (UVXY/VIXY) when markets overheat or spike up, and goes short/into Treasuries or gold when bond/trend signals weaken.
NutHow it works
Daily, rules-based: - If SPY/QQQ look “too hot” (RSI very high) or TQQQ jumps >5.5% in a day → buy UVXY/VIXY (fear ETFs). - If tech is “washed out” (RSI very low) → buy TECL/TQQQ (3× tech). - Else use trend (200‑day avg) and bond‑vs‑stock checks: if healthy → TQQQ; if weak → SQQQ/PSQ (short tech), or SHY (T‑bills) or gold (IAU/GLD). RSI = 0–100 heat meter.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample shows ~46% annualized return vs ~18% for the S&P, with Sharpe ~0.89 and Calmar ~0.76. It bets on tech-led uptrends with hedges for spikes—great upside potential, but expect larger drawdowns than the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
