About

Income-first, dip‑buying strategy: 30% dividends; 70% buys 3x index/semis only on deep dips and parks in income when idle. In volatility spikes it dials down risk, parks in T‑Bills, and may add a UVXY crash hedge.
NutHow it works
Core: 30% in dividend funds (SCHD, DGRO) plus a diversifier (DBMF). Engine: 70% hunts “pops.” It buys 3x funds (SPXL, TQQQ, SOXL) only when a short‑term score called RSI (0–100; under 30 = washed‑out, over 80 = very hot) says “washed‑out”; otherwise it sits in an income fund (CII). If things look too hot, it holds UVXY for crash insurance. If market volatility jumps (VIXM’s RSI>70), it switches the parking spot to T‑Bills (BIL) for extra safety.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~33.5% vs S&P ~21.3%; Calmar ~1.20 signals solid risk-adjusted upside. A dividend core plus tactical 3x dip-buying with volatility hedges and T-bill parking aims for higher upside with controlled risk vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
