About

A 30/70 dividend-plus-tactical portfolio. Uses a fear gauge (VIXM RSI>70) to raise lots of cash, then relies on Pop Bots that default to T‑bills. In normal times, collects income and only jumps into 3x stock funds after big selloffs; flips to UVXY after overheated surges.
NutHow it works
RSI is a 0–100 “hot/cold” speed meter. Goal: steady dividends + tactical “pops,” with a crash switch. Crash: if VIXM’s 10‑day RSI >70 (fear surging), hold ~60% cash; put ~40% in 3 Pop Bots defaulting to T‑bills (BIL). Pop Bots: after big drops (RSI<30) buy 3x funds—SPXL (S&P 500), TQQQ (Nasdaq‑100), SOXL (semis); after overheated surges (RSI>80) hold UVXY; otherwise sit in BIL (or CII for income). Normal: 30% SCHD/DGRO/DBMF; 70% income + Pop Bots (idle=CII).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~33.6% annualized return vs SPY ~21.6%, with Calmar ~1.20. Delivers higher upside via dividends and tactical pops, while crisis guardrails curb risk; note drawdowns may be larger in stressed markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
