About

Income-first with a crash switch. 30% in dividend funds (SCHD, DGRO) + DBMF; 70% hunts monthly income and short bursts: buy 3× ETFs (SPXL/TQQQ/SOXL) after sharp drops, flip to UVXY when overheated, otherwise sit in BIL or CII. Uses VIXM to detect turmoil.
NutHow it works
It’s a 30/70 split. 30% goes to dividend-stock funds SCHD, DGRO plus DBMF (a managed‑futures diversifier). 70% seeks monthly income and quick “pops.” A fear check (10‑day RSI—a 0–100 speed score—of VIXM, a volatility fund) sets defense: high fear ⇒ park cash in BIL (T‑Bills), else in CII (monthly payer). Three “pop bots” watch S&P 500 (via SPXL), Nasdaq‑100 (via TQQQ), and Semis (via SOXL): if RSI<30 after a drop, buy the 3× bull; if RSI>80 on SPXL/TQQQ, buy UVXY (spikes when stocks tumble); otherwise stay parked.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample return 33.5% vs SPY 21.3%, Calmar ~1.20, Sharpe ~1.13. Higher drawdowns exist, but income, tactical pops, and hedges (dividends, DBMF, UVXY, VIXM) deliver stronger risk-adjusted upside vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
