This strategy spreads money across 7 “real asset” areas: gold, real estate, inflation-protected bonds, silver, broad commodities, oil, and timber. Every quarter, it resets the mix. It also looks at how bumpy each holding has been over the last 60 days and generally gives more weight to the steadier ones and less to the more erratic ones.
