About

A stacked, rules-based trader for tech-heavy markets. It buys big dips, fades overheated pops, and uses long-term trend checks to choose growth vs defensive and long vs short Treasuries. Uses 3x bull/bear ETFs, UVXY as hedge, and cash when unclear.
NutHow it works
It’s a timing system. First it checks fear (the VIX): if fear is high, it plays more defense. Then it looks for short-term “pops” and “dips” in the S&P 500, Nasdaq, and semiconductors—buying big dips, shorting overheated moves. If nothing is extreme, it follows longer trends: if stocks beat commodities, it favors growth and long bonds; if not, it tilts defensive and/or shorts bonds. Cash is used when signals are mixed.
CheckmarkValue prop
Dynamic, tech-focused strategy with volatility hedges and multi-horizon timing. OOS return ~20.8% vs SPY ~21.8%, but drawdown ~34% vs ~19% and lower risk-adjusted Sharpe. Suitable as diversification to SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
