About

A fast, rules‑based mix of buy‑the‑dip/fade‑the‑rip trades in tech and semis, plus a longer‑trend engine that rotates between equity sectors and Treasury bets. Uses 3x ETFs and UVXY. Very high risk; sometimes parks in T‑bills when no edge is seen.
NutHow it works
It mixes two tactics: 1) “Pop” trades that buy sharp dips or fade sharp spikes in big tech (QQQ), chipmakers (SMH) and the S&P (SPXL/TQQQ/SOXL, or their shorts SQQQ/SOXS). RSI is a 0–100 “speedometer” of recent moves: high = overheated, low = washed out. 2) If no Pop, it follows longer “waves”: if stocks (SPY) beat commodities (DBC), it holds pro‑stock, plus Treasury trades (TMF=long bonds or TMV=short bonds) based on the rates trend (IEF vs TLT). If nothing’s clear, it parks in T‑bills (BIL) or briefly hedges with volatility (UVXY).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annual return ~24.2% vs S&P 21.5%, with solid risk-adjusted edge (Calmar ~0.68). A tactical mix of short-term mean-reversion and multi-horizon trend in tech/semis and rates—more upside, but higher drawdown risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
