About

A daily, rules-based “buy the dip” plan. It parks cash in T‑Bills, scales into 3x equity ETFs (TQQQ, SOXL, SPXL) as they get oversold, and briefly uses UVXY when markets look overheated. Heavy tech/semis tilt; very high risk.
NutHow it works
RSI = a 0–100 “heat” score of recent 10‑day moves. Portfolio: 50% TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100), 40% SOXL (3x semis), 10% SPXL (3x S&P 500); idle cash sits in BIL (T‑Bills). Each day: if RSI is very high (≥80) buy UVXY as a crash hedge; if high, stay mostly in BIL; if low, buy the ETF in steps—deeper dips = bigger buys—fully invested near RSI 30. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this dip-buying strategy targets ~33% annualized returns vs ~20% for the S&P, with a ~1.05 Sharpe and a Calmar ~1.26. Higher growth and solid risk-adjusted profile, though drawdowns can be larger (~26% vs ~19%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
