This strategy splits money into 3 parts. 1) One part reacts directly to gold’s recent moves: if gold looks overheated, it bets against gold and gold miners; if gold looks beaten down, it buys them; otherwise it mixes gold, the U.S. dollar, and bitcoin. 2) Another part uses bond-market “weather signals” to choose between strong-dollar/strong-gold or weak-dollar/weak-gold positions. 3) The last part uses similar bond signals to choose between strong-dollar/short-bitcoin or weak-dollar/long-bitcoin.
