About

Tactical, inflation-aware Dow strategy. Uses trend and a “hot/cold” gauge to switch among 3× long/short Dow, Treasuries, gold, or unlevered Dow. Also checks bond vs tech strength. Rebalanced daily; uses leveraged ETFs—high risk.
NutHow it works
Daily checks inflation (RINF above/below 200‑day trend). Uses a short‑term “hot/cold” meter (RSI) on the Dow (DIA) to pick: very cold→UDOW (3× long Dow); very hot→SDOW (3× short Dow). Otherwise it holds TMF (3× long Treasuries), plain DIA, or, in weak trends, splits DOG (−1× Dow) and GLD (gold). A bond‑vs‑tech check (BND vs QQQ) nudges it toward stocks or Treasuries. Tickers: DIA=Dow; UDOW/SDOW=3×; DOG=−1×; TMF=3× Treas.; GLD=gold; RINF=inflation; BND=bonds; QQQ=tech.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~1.22 vs SPY ~1.0; annualized return ~41% vs ~18%; Calmar ~1.57. Inflation-aware rotation among Dow, Treasuries, and Gold targets stronger, risk-adjusted upside vs S&P 500 despite deeper drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
