About

A daily, rules-based plan that dials risk up or down. If tech looks overheated, it parks in T‑Bills and a small volatility hedge. If the S&P 500 is below trend, it moves to calmer assets. Otherwise it leans into strength but sizes more into steadier funds.
NutHow it works
Daily playbook: 1) If tech looks overheated (RSI = heat meter; high = hot), go defensive: mostly T‑Bills (BIL) plus a small volatility hedge (VIXY). 2) Else if the S&P 500 is below its 86‑day average, rotate into calmer funds (staples, healthcare, gold, dollar, TIPS, short Treasuries). 3) Otherwise, split: a diversified mix (tech, healthcare, consumer, Europe, dollar) sized by inverse‑vol (more to steadier), plus a short‑term sleeve that owns SPY/financials/consumer only if rising; else AGG.
CheckmarkValue prop
A risk-managed daily strategy delivering steadier equity exposure: out-of-sample drawdown 9.7% vs SPY’s 18.8%, beta ~0.45, Calmar ~0.95, Sharpe ~0.86. Lower downside with durable gains; adds diversification vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
