About

A fast, tactical, semiconductor/tech‑focused system. It uses simple signals—trend, “hot/cold” readings, volatility spikes, and the day’s semi move—to either buy dips, short rips, ride the trend, or sit in safety. Uses 3x ETFs and volatility hedges; high risk.
NutHow it works
It watches four dials: trend (is the market above/below its long‑term average?), a “hot/cold” score of recent moves (RSI), volatility (UVXY), and how big today’s semiconductor move was (SMH). Then it flips between: 3x long semis (SOXL), 3x short semis (SOXS), 3x Nasdaq long/short (TQQQ/SQQQ), or safety (SHY/BSV/UUP), and may add VIX hedges (UVXY/VIXM). High risk; checked daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this tactical semis/tech strategy targets ~49% annualized return vs SPY ~25%, with Calmar ~0.94 and volatility hedges. It aims to outperform in turbulent markets by capturing big moves, though it can endure larger drawdowns in extreme cases.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
