About

Daily rules choose one: 2x Nasdaq after sharp selloffs, regular Nasdaq in confirmed uptrends, Utilities when hot or mixed, dividend/low-vol stocks in weak markets, or T‑bills when trends are poor. Aims to grow in good times and defend in bad times.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks two things. 1) Is the Nasdaq-100 (QQQ) extremely hot or cold over the last ~2 weeks? If very hot, it hides in Utilities (XLU). If very cold, it buys the 2x version of QQQ (QLD) to catch a rebound. 2) If not extreme, it uses the S&P 500 trend: above long-term and short-term means QQQ; above long-term but weak short-term means XLU; below long-term but okay short-term means SPHD; weak on both means T‑bills (BIL).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 38.95% annualized return vs 33.63% S&P, Calmar 6.95, and strong risk controls. Tactical, 2x-leverage after pullbacks with ~5.6% max drawdown—higher upside with disciplined downside protection.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
