About

Uses QQQ’s 10‑day RSI as a thermostat: into bonds when overheated, into 2× QQQ when oversold, otherwise hold defensive stock sectors plus long Treasuries. Rebalanced daily to stay aligned with the signal.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a 10‑day heat score on QQQ: RSI (0–100, higher = strong recent gains). If very hot (>75), move 100% to VBF (a high‑quality bond fund). If very cold (<30), move 100% to QLD (a 2× version of QQQ, aiming to catch a rebound). Otherwise, split equally among XLP (Consumer Staples), XLU (Utilities), XLV (Health Care), and TLT (long‑term U.S. Treasuries).
CheckmarkValue prop
Stronger risk-adjusted gains than the S&P: 36.3% annualized vs 30.3%, Sharpe 4.56 vs 2.53, and only ~1.1% max drawdown vs ~2.5%. Low beta (~0.27) means less market sensitivity with more upside when signals fire.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
