About

Rules-based, tech-tilted strategy. In uptrends it uses leveraged ETFs (UPRO/TECL) to ride strength or buy dips. When signals turn, it shifts to short Nasdaq (PSQ), Treasuries, or cash—whichever is stronger. Very high risk; fast swings.
NutHow it works
First it checks the market’s long-term trend (S&P 500 vs its 200‑day average). In uptrends it rides strength with leveraged funds (UPRO/TECL), buys dips when short-term “heat” scores (RSI: 0–100) get very low, and may hedge if things look too hot. In downtrends or choppy periods, it flips to short Nasdaq (PSQ), Treasuries (TLT/IEF), or cash (BIL), choosing whichever is acting stronger. It uses TQQQ as a tech “thermometer.”
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~1.14 vs S&P ~0.83; annualized return ~56.65% vs 14.82%; Calmar ~1.51. Drawdowns can be larger, but its tech tilt and risk-off defenses target higher, risk-adjusted growth vs the S&P.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
