About

A daily, rules-based “playbook” that chases tech-driven upside in uptrends, buys sharp dips, and quickly flips to cash, bonds, dollar, gold, or volatility hedges when markets overheat or break trend. It also rotates bonds, oil and commodities by momentum.
NutHow it works
It’s a daily rulebook that flips between offense and defense. - Offense: In uptrends it buys strong growth (mainly tech/Nasdaq/semis, often with 3x funds like TQQQ/TECL/SOXL/UPRO). If the market’s “heat gauge” (RSI: a 0–100 speedometer) is very low (~30), it buys the dip. - Defense: If prices are below trend, after big pops, or when RSI is very high (~80), it moves to T‑bills/short‑term bonds, defensive funds (staples, gold, dollar), or hedges with VIX ETFs (UVXY/VIXY). - Bonds/commodities: It rotates between long Treasuries (TLT/TMF) and short‑bond bets (TMV/USD) by trend, and adds oil/commodities (DIG/UCO/DBC) or gold when their momentum improves.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy beats the S&P on risk-adjusted terms: Sharpe ~1.27 vs ~1.22; Calmar ~1.44; max drawdown ~14.1% vs 18.8%; annualized return ~20.26% vs 20.58%. Growth with downside protection.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
