About

A daily, fast‑moving strategy that rides big tech uptrends with leveraged ETFs, shifts to cash/bonds/volatility when markets look overheated or weak, and buys sharp dips. Very aggressive and concentrated; expect large swings.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks a few simple gauges: - Big trend: Is the S&P 500 (SPY) above its 200‑day average? If yes, it’s more willing to go on offense; if not, it plays defense. - Heat gauge (RSI): If tech is “hot” (very high RSI), it parks in cash/T‑bills (BIL/SHV) or a volatility hedge (VIXY). If “cold” (very low RSI), it buys the dip (often TQQQ/TECL/UPRO). - Trend filters and shocks: If TQQQ is above short MAs, stay long; big 1‑day pops or 6‑day slumps trigger hedges. Bonds (TLT/TMF/BND) and gold (UGL) appear when stock momentum fades. In select cases it may short tech (SQQQ/SOXS).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~30.69% annualized returns vs SPY’s ~20.58%, by riding tech uptrends with smart hedges. Higher growth potential with proactive risk controls—note large drawdowns can occur in stressed markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
