About

Monthly sector switch. If QQQ is below its 200‑day trend line, buy the 3 most “oversold” sectors. If it’s above, concentrate in the top 1–3 sectors by ~200‑day performance. A blend of contrarian and momentum sector rotation.
NutHow it works
Each month it checks QQQ (a big‑tech index fund) against its 200‑day EMA, a long‑term average. - If QQQ is below that line: buy equally the 3 sector funds with the lowest 10‑day RSI (a “heat” gauge; low = recently sold off). - Otherwise: buy the best performers over ~200 days: top 1 gets 20%, top 2 add 30%, top 3 add 50% (overlaps combined).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this regime-aware sector rotation offers disciplined risk control and diversification. Calmar ~1.07 with ~20% annualized return (vs SPY ~24%), beta ~1.05, and ~18.8% drawdown—a structured alternative to the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
