About

A rules-based, tactical strategy that blends three “traffic lights” to switch between offense (strongest tech/healthcare/consumer stocks) and defense (commodities, bonds, steadier sectors), with volatility brakes that can push it to cash.
NutHow it works
It runs three market “traffic lights.” If most lights say conditions are friendly (and markets aren’t overheated), it goes on offense; if not, it plays defense. Offense: pick the 2 bounciest growth sectors (tech, healthcare, consumer) and buy 4 recent winners in each. Defense: rotate into trending commodity funds, the 3 strongest bond funds, and leaders in steadier sectors. Equal-weighted.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy targets ~31.8% annual return with ~1.11% max drawdown and beta ~0.24, vs S&P ~15.9% return and ~2.12% drawdown. A 3-engine Ro/Ro system with volatility brakes seeks steadier, higher risk-adjusted upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
