About

A trend-following, risk-on/risk-off ETF mix: go aggressive with leveraged tech/semis in strong uptrends, keep a constant bonds-and-gold core, and rotate to low-vol/Utilities with small hedges when the market weakens.
NutHow it works
It watches SPY versus its 200-day (long-term) and 100-day (medium-term) average. Always keeps ~20% in IEF (Treasuries) and IAU (gold). If both trends are strong, it adds TQQQ (3x Nasdaq), SOXL (3x semis), and ITA (aerospace/defense), plus IVE (value) and OEF (mega-caps). When trends weaken, it shifts to SPLV (low-vol S&P) and XLU (utilities). If SPY < 100-day, it also adds small hedges (SQQQ/SPXU) and crisis assets (TMF/UGL).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~64.8% vs SPY ~12.9%, Sharpe ~2.23 vs ~1.12, Calmar ~6.66. A trend-following, regime-rotating strategy with bonds/gold ballast aims to capture big uptrends while trimming losses. Leveraged bets boost upside but add risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
