About

Simple daily switch between U.S. stocks (SPY) and European stocks (IEUR) based on which outperformed over the last 30 days; always 100% in the recent leader.
NutHow it works
Each day, it checks which market did better over the last ~30 days and holds only that one: - SPY = big U.S. companies (S&P 500: Apple, Microsoft, etc.) - IEUR = big European companies (UK, Germany, France, Switzerland, etc.) Whichever had the higher recent gain gets 100% of the portfolio. Switch when the leader changes.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample momentum rotates between US and Europe, targeting ~35% return vs SPY's ~17%, with higher Sharpe (~2.0 vs ~1.0), lower drawdown (~14% vs ~19%), and Calmar ~2.46. Clear edge over the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
