About

A globally diversified mix of developed‑country stock ETFs that gives more weight to steadier markets and less to choppier ones using the past ~200 days of volatility. Rebalanced daily for a smoother equity ride—risk control within stocks, not a separate hedge.
NutHow it works
It spreads money across stock funds for major developed countries (e.g., US/SPY, Japan/EWJ, UK/EWU, Switzerland/EWL, Canada/EWC, Australia/EWA, Germany/DAX, France/EWQ, etc.). Each day it looks back ~200 trading days to see which countries were calmer (lower price swings). Calmer funds get more money; choppier ones get less. It rebalances daily to keep that mix. It stays fully in stocks, so it can still fall in global sell‑offs.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy yields ~29.2% annualized return, Sharpe ~1.79, Calmar ~2.15, and max drawdown ~13.6%, vs S&P 500’s ~17.2% return, Sharpe ~0.96 and ~18.8% drawdown—higher upside with stronger risk control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
