About
A global stock strategy that owns developed-country market funds and tilts toward the calmer ones, aiming for a smoother ride than simply splitting money evenly.
This strategy spreads money across stock markets in developed countries like Japan, the UK, Canada, Germany, Australia, and the U.S.
Every day, it looks back about 200 trading days and checks which country funds have been bumpier and which have been steadier. It gives bigger positions to the steadier markets and smaller positions to the more erratic ones.
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 1.26 vs 1.02, annualized return 19.48% vs 16.76%, max drawdown 13.55% vs 18.76%, beta ~0.70, Calmar ~1.44—delivering higher, steadier returns with less market risk than the S&P 500.
