Rides Bitcoin’s rallies by holding the single hottest BTC-linked stock/ETF; if the long-term trend is down and recent losses are steep, it flips to an inverse Bitcoin ETF. High-risk, single-position, crypto-focused rotation.

1) It checks if Bitcoin is in a rising trend by looking at BITO: if its recent 50‑day average price is above its 200‑day average, that’s an uptrend. 2) In any uptrend, it buys just one Bitcoin-linked stock/ETF—the one that’s been rising fastest over the last few days (from names like Coinbase, MicroStrategy, miners, or BTC ETFs, including leveraged ones). 3) If there’s no uptrend and Bitcoin has fallen hard lately (over ~10% in the last month), it buys an inverse Bitcoin ETF (BITI) to profit if prices keep dropping. If there’s no uptrend but the recent drop wasn’t that bad, it still holds the strongest Bitcoin proxy. It rebalances mainly when signals change or the position drifts by ~5%.

Out-of-sample: ~80% annualized return vs S&P ~22%, Sharpe ~1.06, Calmar ~0.96. A BTC-momentum rotation targets the top proxy for strong upside, but with higher volatility and notable drawdown risk vs the S&P.
