About

Rides confirmed Bitcoin uptrends with a capped 30% stake in the strongest BTC‑linked stock/ETF. When that uptrend isn’t in place, it switches to a compact playbook to hedge or tactically trade tech and oil based on overbought/oversold and 200‑day trends.
NutHow it works
Each day the strategy asks: 1) Is Bitcoin strongly trending up? (Using BITO’s smoothed price trends: 100d>300d and 20d>50d.) If yes, put 30% into the single hottest Bitcoin proxy (e.g., COIN, RIOT, MARA, MSTR, or BTC ETFs). 2) Otherwise, run a simple playbook: if big tech looks very hot (RSI>80), buy UVXY (hedge). If tech looks washed‑out (RSI<31), buy TECL (rebound). Else, use the S&P 500’s 200‑day trend to hold defensive staples/oil or inverse tech. Moving averages = smoothed trends; RSI gauges “hot/cold” on 0–100.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample Sharpe ~2.88 and Calmar ~23 signal strong risk-adjusted gains versus the S&P. An outsized oos annualized return (~692%/yr) with a capped 30% BTC sleeve offers upside, while tactical hedges aim to protect during stress (watch for drawdowns near ~30%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
