About

A daily, concentrated bet on big global bank stocks: 30% goes to the best 2‑week performer, 70% to the most volatile over 2 weeks. Often ends up in 1–2 names and can shift quickly with market moves.
NutHow it works
It looks at a list of big global banks (like JPMorgan, Bank of America, Citigroup, HSBC, Santander, Barclays, Deutsche Bank, etc.). Every day it picks: (1) the bank with the best past 14‑day performance (30% weight), and (2) the bank with the biggest recent price swings over 14 days (70% weight). If both are the same bank, it holds just that one. Then it rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this bank-focused strategy targets ~57% annualized return vs SPY’s ~21%, with higher Sharpe (~1.69) and Calmar (~2.97). Strong risk-adjusted upside, but ~19% max drawdown and sector concentration.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
