This strategy is a fast-moving market timer. When U.S. stocks—especially tech—look healthy, it buys boosted stock funds like QLD and SSO. When markets look overheated, weak, or crash-prone, it shifts into defensive funds like BTAL, TIP, or sometimes PSQ, which rises when the Nasdaq falls. It makes these switches using simple market “temperature checks” such as trend, recent speed of gains/losses, and sudden volatility.
