About

A Swensen-inspired, well-diversified mix of US and international stocks, US real estate, and both regular and inflation-protected Treasuries, kept near fixed target weights with monthly rebalancing.
NutHow it works
The portfolio splits your money across six broad funds and resets to these targets each month: - 30% VTI: all US stocks (big to small companies). - 15% VXUS: stocks outside the US (developed + emerging). - 5% VWO: extra tilt to emerging‑market stocks. - 20% VNQ: US real estate companies (REITs). - 15% TIP: US government bonds that adjust with inflation (TIPS). - 15% VGIT: mid‑term US Treasury bonds. Each month it rebalances back to these percentages.
CheckmarkValue prop
Diversified 70/30 Swensen-style mix (US/intl stocks, REITs, TIPS, mid-term Treasuries) with monthly rebalancing. Out-of-sample, lower drawdown (about 20.3% vs 22.1%), inflation hedge and broader diversification than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
