Every day the model asks: Is the stock rally healthy or overheated? If healthy, it favors big US tech (QQQ/XLK) and related trends. If overheated or shaky, it parks in bonds (BND) or cash-like T‑Bills (BIL), or a stabilizer (BTAL). It also: (1) uses gold and commodity trend sleeves, (2) rotates to safe sectors (XLP/XLU), and (3) can short QQQ in sharp selloffs. It compares tech vs KMLM (a crisis‑friendly “managed futures” fund) and the US dollar to gauge stress.
